SICC – Making History for 170 Years
The Singapore International Chamber of Commerce recently celebrated the 170th anniversary of its founding. It was officially established on 8 Feb 1837; just 18 years after Stamford Raffles landed on Singapore. To give some historical perspective, King William II of England was about to be succeeded by Queen Victoria; US States acquired legal power to issue paper money; Andrew Jackson was the 7th President of USA; the Manchu Emperor, Tao Kuang, was the ruler of the Celestial Middle Kingdom; and Morse had just invented the telegraph.

The magazine was designed and produced by The Print Lodge.
